Boy where is this year gone? May already, and spring is in full bloom. It won't be long until

school is out and we will be blessed again with all of our guests here on the lake, that we all know to well is the life of our businesses around here. The McDonald's tournament and the Tracy Byrd

tour were great success and for that we thank you all.

Congratulations to all the winners and also our 4-wheeler winner. There is a WHOLE SUMMER of events lined up for the pavilion so surely we all can take part in some of them. Please everyone be careful on the water this summer.

Now Let's Fish:

The old bass are through with the spawn and are on the move. Some real nice bass were caught

in the McDonald's tournament as well as the Tracy Byrd tour. They were caught on Senko's and Carolina rigs. Some caught on jigs as well as Texas rig worms. It won't be long until the ole ribbit will be on the top shelf. Remember use good braided line and don't set the hook until you feel the fish.

The crappie IS making their move from the grass to the brush piles. Use Stanley wedge tails or Blakemore roadrunners over the brush in black and chartreuse tail on a pink jig head, minnows will also do well.

The bream will be moving up soon. We all know they are a lot of fun. The cats will be hot real soon as well.

Please forgive the short report. This time of year we here at Tejas are in a dead run most of the time. So please look over me this time and if we can be of help just call.

God bless!!!
